Customers who belong to our "Platinum" membership plan have complete control over their "shipping schedule", and can set their account to process shipments Weekly, Every Two Weeks, Monthly, or even HOLD shipments to allow them to wait for future shipments to arrive and then submit a consolidation ship request.
Under your "Shipping Options" account page you have full control on what shipping carrier you would like to use on all future shipments, you can enable/disable insurance on all shipments, your shipping schedule, and other valuable shipping options you can control.
You can view our international shipping rates by using our custom built shipping calculator that will tell show you Parcelbound's shipping prices.
You simply have to first select the country where the shipment will be sent to. Once you select the country, simply enter in the weight and dimensions of the shipment; which will then show you what the shipping costs will be.
Dimensional weight is the weight that is calculated based on the length, width, and height of the box. Shipping carriers use the dimensional weight to accurately charge shipping costs for boxes that are over-sized.
Depending on the shipping carrier a dim factor of anywhere between 139 - 200 is usually used to calculate this dimensional weight. Here is an example of how this would be calculated.
Box dimensions ( L x W x H): 14 in x 12 in x 10 in = 1,680
1,680 / 139 = 12.1
So in this example the dimensional weight of this box would be 13 lbs; since shipping carriers always round up to the nearest pound.
When we consolidate items we always strive to get all items into 1 box; however there are circumstances when dealing with oversize items or other scenarios where it is not feasible to get all items into 1 large box.
The consolidation will be done based on getting as many items into as few boxes as possible; which could mean that there can still be multiple boxes after the consolidation process.

We offer 2 membership plan types (Silver and Platinum).
Silver: If you don't shop in the U.S.A. often then this is the plan for you. There is a low one-time registration fee with this plan, but there are NO monthly/yearly membership plan fees.
Platinum: If you shop a lot in the U.S.A. then this is the plan for you to save extra on shipping costs. There is a low one-time registraion fee with this plan, and depending on what you want your billing cycle to be you can either sign up for a monthly or annual billing cycle.

When signing up for a new membership plan account we require a credit card mainly for 2 reasons:
1. When signing up for a membership plan account we charge your credit card an "account deposit" amount that we use to verify an account is NOT fraudulent and to keep fraudulent users down to a minimum.
However, please note that this "account deposit" amount that is charged to your credit card will then be directly deposited into your Parcelbound credit on account. You will then have the benefit of applying this amount to any future shipments or personal shopper orders you may place.
2. We securely keep your credit card information on file, which is stored not locally but securely on Authorize.Net's certified PCI DSS compliant servers. We do this ensure a smooth and uninterrupted service for shipping out your shipments and processing your personal shopper orders as quickly as possible.
No, sorry we do NOT offer shipping services for rental membership service websites like Netflix, Blockbuster, Gamefly.
Due to the complexity of having to ship and then send back each media item this is a service that is something that we do not offer.
Yes, we offer a self service membership upgrade/downgrade option that is listed under your account.
If upgrading from a "Silver" to "Platinum" account you will be charged a "membership change fee", and depending on if you select a monthly or annual billing cycle the 1st payment will be captured at this time.
If downgrading from a "Platinum" to a "Silver" account you will be charged a "membership change fee", and whatever remaining days you have left in your billing cycle will be credited to your account that you will be able to use for future shipments or related charges.
The "membership change fee" must be agreed to before you are allowed to change your membership plan. We have this "membership change fee" in place to minimize frequent membership plan changes by customers who try to take advantage of our cheaper Platinum shipping rates for a short time.
We receive many shipments throughout the day; depending on the number of parcels we receive there may be a delay in your parcel being checked-in to our system/warehouse.
Please note that your parcel is secure in our warehouse, but just has not been processed through our check-in department.
Commissions are paid based on two different types of payout packages; "sign up" and "spend".
"Sign up" Payout Package:
Under this package you will received a fixed flat amount per each customer that signs up for a Parcelbound account and has an "active" membership.
"Spend" Payout Package:
Under this package affiliates can earn more money by referring more customers. This package has tier levels that increase an affiliates commisson, and increases their ability to generate more money for each new "active" customer.
